Intro

My name is Dylan French and I am a sophomore letters and sciences major currently. My plan is to apply to the business school, so I guess that would be considered my field of interest. Certainly the media plays a huge part in the world of business, as it does in any field these days. There is no question that a 24 hour media presence has changed the way the world works. People are more cautious with what they say now because they know if something controversial is said, it will be scrutinized to no end. This can be a positive by making people think before speaking, but it can also be a negative by preventing some from getting their opinions out.
